The Panasonic EverVolt system utilizes lithium-ion or LFP battery modules connected in series to create a high DC voltage bus. The Battery Management System (BMS) monitors individual cell voltages, temperature, and current. A low voltage error indicates one or more cells have discharged below a safe threshold, potentially due to self-discharge during storage or a fault within the BMS itself. The DC voltage is converted to AC voltage by the inverter for household use and grid interaction. Low battery voltage can also stem from parasitic loads.
